  • Determine your cleaning need and prioritize
    • Do a walk through of the home and take note of the things that need to be cleaned.  Prioritize your needs based on what you can do and what you would like the cleaning service to handle.

  • Determine the type if service you need
    • Determine the type of service that best meets your needs.
      • Lite duty cleaning -  is cleaning the areas that most people would clean on a regular basis with no pets and are generally tidy. For example:
        • Dusting and wiping down surfaces around the home
        • Vacuuming floors and carpets
        • Mopping floors
        • Bathroom cleaning
        • Cleaning the kitchen sink areas
        • Wiping down the kitchen appliances
        • Taking out the trash
        • Lite organizing
      • Routine Cleaning - also know as a maintenance clean is cleaning the areas more in depth than a lite clean.  This is what most people would clean on a regular basis. For example:
        • Dusting and wiping down surfaces around the home
        • Vacuuming floors and carpets

        • Cleaning the kitchen sink areas

      • Move in / Move out Cleaning - A deep clean includes everything in a Deep Clean house cleaning with more detail and additional areas.  The home must be empty. The additional areas will differ by service, for example

What sort of payment options to you accept?

Clean and Tidy Today wants to make it easy for you.  We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and for established clients we can invoice you.  We even accept cash and personal checks.

Do you provide cleaning materials?

YES!  Clean and Tidy Today will provide all the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to clean you home.  Of course, if you have a special request or have a special cleaning material we will be happy to use it.

Are you Bonded, Insured and Licensed?

Trust of our clients is of the upmost importance to us at Clean and Tidy Today.  We are in your home as a guest.   We carry a Bond against thief,  we carry liability insurance in the event of accidental damage to your property and we are licensed with the city of Albuquerque and are a registered LLC with the State of New Mexico.

Are you Cleaning Techinicians Trained?

Yes, all of the Cleaning Technicians are trained (or being trained) by the Maid Training Academy,  the world's largest online training school for residential maid service professionals. In addition to the Maid Training Academy each new member of the team goes through a 90 day on the job training under the guidance of the Owner of Clean and Tidy Today, LLC, Meralyn.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning

Absulutly not!  If you are comfortable with us, you can provide a code to a door, a key or let us in and then leave and we will lock up.   However, we do request that you be available the first or second cleaning while we "learn" where things are and what the needs of your particular job are.   You can be "available" in person or via phone or text.

Can I schedule the exact time your will arrive?

Clean and Tidy Today, LLC schedules in 1 hour arrival time windows.  For example, if you have a 2:00 pm appointment time, we may arrive anytime between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

What areas do you servce?

Service area is Metro Albuquerque area west of Sandia Mountains; Clean and Tidy Today, LLC does NOT service East Mountain area, Bernalillo, Santa Fe, Belen, Los Lunas, Edgewood, Moriarty or Tijeras at this time.

What is your 100% Satification Guaranteed

As part of the normal cleaning procedure you are asked to check the work prior to the departure of the cleaning technician(s) (if you are available).   Otherwise you have 24 hrs to report a problem and we will come back and make it right, guaranteed!

What is you cancellation policy?

Clean and Tidy Today, LLC will be happy to reschedule your cleaning.  We understand that things come up.  However, a cancellation with less that 24 hrs will result in a $25 cancellation fee.   A "lockout" fee will be assessed at $50 - this is when the cleaners arrive at your home but cannot gain access for whatever reason.  We also have $40 returned check fee for payments by check that are returned by the bank.

Come to work in a friendly environment. Daytime hours, Monday - Saturday, no nights, or holidays. Professionally clean customer homes using Clean and Tidy's cleaning procedures and products. Overall objectives are to leave the home looking and smelling freshly cleaned and groomed with a happy client. Currently this is a PART-TIME position. Estimated at less that 30 - 40 hours per week.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.


  • Ability to differentiate between variously colored cleaning products by identifying the color or product name.
  •  Ability to define specific uses of cleaning products.
  •  Ability to read cleaning instructions.
  •  Ability to communicate with the Team Lead to ensure the customers’ expectations are met.
  • Required to complete online training during probationary period.
  •  Ability to drive to and from various job sites as needed.
  •  Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew and cleaning solutions.
  •  Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds of equipment in and out of an average of 2 homes a day, but as many as 4 homes a day. This may include climbing stairs while carrying equipment. Ability to load and unload equipment from cars.
  •  Ability to perform wet-work 60% of working time to clean kitchen and bathroom floors, showers and tubs; wipe countertops at waist height 20% of the time; bend for toilets and finishing showers and tubs at knee height 10% of the time; and reach shoulder height or above 10% of the time to finish the rooms.
  •  Perform dry-work with the ability to reach, pull, and stoop to make beds 5% of the time; reach, lift and pull to operate a vacuum cleaner that weighs up to 12 pounds 60% of the time; carry and operate a portable vacuum that weighs 6 pounds (and can be strapped diagonally across the shoulder) 15% of the time; dust furniture from floor to overhead 20% of the time. Dusting will involve bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and moving small furniture.

  • Uses provided cleaning products and procedures to clean, dust cobwebs, cleaning all hanging light fixtures and dusting baseboards and windowsills each cleaning.
  • Uses provided cleaning products and procedures to clean, sanitize, and deodorize all bathroom fixtures, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors and vanities.
  •  Uses provided cleaning products and procedures to clean kitchen appliances, counters, cabinets, tables and chairs.
  • Vacuum stairways and vacuum or sweep and then wash all hard surface floors using provided products and procedures.
  • Moves all reasonably moveable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind. Vacuums all upholstered furniture, including under all cushions each cleaning.
  • Carries cleaning products and equipment to and from office, vehicle, and customers’ homes.
  • Assists Team Lead in refilling cleaning kit and performs required equipment maintenance at the end of the workday.
  • Contributes to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contributes to the overall team effort of the company including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
  • Has respect and understanding for co-workers.
  • Contributes to the overall goal of maintaining quality customer service.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings as required.
